---------------------------------------------------
4 1/2 c. chopped cucumbers
3 1/2 c chopped celery
3 c chopped onions
1/4 c canning salt
Mix this together and let sit overnight in the fridge. Next day, drain and rinse well.
Combine in a large pan
4 c white vinegar
3 c white sugar
2 tsp mustard seed
2 tsp celery seed
Bring to a full boil then add the cucmber mixture. Simmer for 10 minutes. Pack in 1/2 pint jars and process for 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.
***I chop all of the vegetables in a blender with some water in it. It sure makes it go faster.
-------------------------------------------------
Mit diesem Relish kannst Du Dir die MD Big Mac Sauce clonen:
Big Mac Sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons French dressing
4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon finely minced white onions
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl.
Stir well.
Place sauce in a covered container and refrigerate for several hours, or overnight, so that the flavors blend.
Stir the sauce a couple of times as it chills.

McDonalds Big Mac Sauce
This recipe is from the 1968 McDonald's Manager's Handbook put out in 1969 (1968 year) They quickly removed the recipe after realizing they had a very appealing "secret sauce." It was included as an emergency recipe in the event a particular store ran out of the pre-made sauce. Enjoy!
1/4 C. KRAFT Miracle Whip
1/4 C. mayonnaise
2 T. heaping, WISHBONE deluxe French
salad dressing (the orange stuff)
1/2 T. HEINZ sweet relish
2 heaping tsp. VLASIC dill pickle relish (Heinz
dill relish also works)
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried, minced onion
1 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. ketchup
1/8 tsp. salt
Mix everything very well in a small container. There better be no streaks! Microwave 25 seconds, and stir well again. Cover, and refrigerate at LEAST 1 hour before using (to allow all of the flavors to "meld"). Makes nearly 1 cup...enough for about 8 Big Macs.
